The PPC Ad Lab Advertiser Page is already a powerful asset for impressing prospects and clients, but what if you could make it even more interactive?
With a little custom code, you can add chatbots, pop-ups, lead gates, payment windows, and more, creating dynamic, conversion-friendly experiences right inside the client-facing dashboard.
In this quick tutorial, we’ll walk through how to add a chatbot widget using custom code. We’ll use GoHighLevel as an example platform, but this method works with any tool that provides embed code.
Step 1: Preview the Advertiser Page (Client View)
Before making changes, it’s helpful to see what your client sees.
- On your PPC Ad Lab dashboard, click the button that copies the Advertiser Page URL.
- Open an incognito window and paste in the URL.
- You’ll now see the white-labeled version (if applicable), complete with your logo and custom buttons.
Note: If you’ve enabled white labeling, this URL will reflect your custom domain and branding.
Step 2: Navigate to the Advertiser Page Settings
To add custom code, go back to your main PPC Ad Lab interface.
- Click your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Select your name to enter your account settings.
- You’ll see two views:
- User View
- Advertiser Page View
→ Select Advertiser Page View
Here, you can:
- Customize contact buttons
- Embed custom scripts (JavaScript, HTML, widgets, etc.)
Step 3: Grab Your Chatbot Code
We’ll use GoHighLevel’s chatbot for this example, but the same concept applies to Intercom, Drift, Tidio, ManyChat, or any chatbot platform.
- Log into your GoHighLevel dashboard
- Navigate to the Chat Widget tab
- Click Get Code
- Copy the full script
The script will often include a note about where to place it—typically in the <body> or <footer>.
Step 4: Embed the Code in PPC Ad Lab
- Go back to your Advertiser Page settings inside PPC Ad Lab
- Scroll to the Body section
- Paste in the chatbot script
- Click Save Changes
That’s it, the chatbot is now live on the client-facing page.
Step 5: Refresh the Client View
Return to your incognito window and refresh the page.
You should now see your chatbot widget live on the page, ready to engage visitors, collect leads, or trigger automations.
Use Cases Beyond Chatbots
Adding custom code unlocks a world of possibilities:
- Lead gates: Require email opt-ins before viewing data
- Calendly embeds: Schedule calls directly from the page
